Work Parties
2004
This year, like every year, dedicated groups of volunteer members answered the call and gave invaluable assistance in getting Unqua ready for the season. The Clubhouse renovation, Heading cleanup, Clubhouse flower planting, Mainland dock maintenance, and Sailing prep are among the areas addressed this year.
Here are some photos and descriptions of various "work parties". (If anyone has photos of other work party days and wouldn't mind loaning them for a few days or can email them to me, I'd be glad to post them here.)

Clubhouse Renovation, purpose: to remove to safekeeping and later return, pictures, mementos and other items, also some of the renovation work in progress.
Heading Cleanup: a thank you from Beach Station Chairmen Allen Rankin & Craig Bergen to all the members that helped at the heading cleanup on Saturday the 24th of April. They are the following: John Ferrari, Tommy Ferrari, Tom Whalen, Jack Whalen, Kim Bergen, Craig Bergen Jr., Taylor Bergen, Ron Papritz, John Rasmussen, Mike Schlesinger, Courtney Schlesinger, Katelynn Schlesinger, John Siemer, Gail Siemer, Brittney Siemer, Dick Kissel, Gary Ketcham.
Sailing prep: a thank you from Sailing Chairmen John Burns and Bill Harbert to all the members that helped on June 5th to get the boats ready for the season: Blake and Frank Belgiorno, Alex, Ed, Debbie and Ed Spychalsky, Sandy Bagdonas, Matt Kramer, Glenn Nugent, Spencer Hughes, Ron Papritz and Rudy Sittler.
