Opening Weekend 2005

Saturday May 28th saw another record crowd for an opening dinner dance. Country Roads did an outstanding job and a great evening was had by all. Sunday May 29th was a beautiful clear, warm day for the opening ceremony, and provided many members their first look at our newly installed docks and parking lot paving. Following the introductions, flag raising, traditional music by the Wantagh American Legion Pipe Band, our National Anthem by Megan Brooks, the clubhouse and JC openings, and boat parade, a fine Jazz band entertained in the bar.
